Casabice B & B is located in Marcialla, a small town nestled in the hills of Chianti, halfway between Florence and Siena. Furnished with particular taste by the owner with many objects gathered during his travels.

Mr. Mori will give you an accurate and warm hospitality and he’s quite sensitive about needs of any guest and can advise you, according to your interests, to find on the best routes in the area, places of art, entertainment or whatever.

The house, newly built, overlooking a breathtaking panorama of hills, is on two floors, it’s the ideal accommodation for a family or two couples of friends.

The structure of the ground floor has a living area with a large living room where breakfast is served, on the first floor there are two double rooms neat and bright with terrace. One of the two rooms has possibility of separate beds. The large bathroom is shared by guests. This allows small groups of up to six people to have the whole Bed and Breakfast reserved.

Outside a large terrace overlooking the surrounding hills of vineyards and olive groves, where, in summer, you can enjoy breakfast and relax after a day listening music, reading a book or sipping a glass of Chianti.

Marcialla is situated two kilometers from Tavarnelle where the buses directed to Florence or Siena stop. (30km from Florence and 40 km from Siena)

Casabice B&B is located strategically at the heart of the Chianti area so you can reach food and wine itineraries around the green hills and medieval villages. You can also visit, in a “one day journey”, cities like San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo, Lucca, Pisa.

It’s also easy reach the Tuscan coast for an excursion to the sea, Etruscan archaeological sites or one of the many SPA’ in the area such Rapolano Petriolo Vignone where you can relax with baths treatments.

During the summer in the main square of Marcialla the citizens organize a series of musical and cultural events. There also a booth where you can enjoy a great pizza as an alternative to local restaurants.

How to reach us:

By car:
Highway exit Florence Impruneta then toward to Florence-Siena motorway and exit at Greve in Chianti. Once in town follow the signs to Marcialla, Certaldo, Montespertoli.

By train
From Florence Santa Maria Novella take the local train to Siena and stop at Poggibonsi station, the owner will be happy to pick you up at the station.

By bus:
from Florence to Siena take the line that runs along Via Cassia and reach Tavarnelle val di Pesa, also in this case the owner will pick you up directly at the bus stop.
